San Joaquin County has a robust goods movement network, with more than 7,000 lane miles, the Stockton Metropolitan Airport has become an increasingly important regional hub for transporting cargo, and the Port of Stockton, which handles 4.74 million metric tons of cargo in 24 different commodities annually.
By optimizing the varietal and farming techniques, Tranquility is able to grow newly planted Cladodes to maturity in nine months. Comparing this to other varieties, or from seed which can take three years, the ROI is realized in year one.
The last four years Tranquility has been perfecting and recently patented robotic planting machines that allow us to plant one hectare every four hours with Cladodes. Tranquility is working on robotic harvesting equipment as well.
